Instagram is no longer a photo-sharing app
Instagram is no longer a photo-sharing app. It’s true, IN 2013, Instagram introduced video with their first 15-second format. REMEMBER? Kevin Systrom, the CEO at the time, said, “what we did to photos, we did to video.”

If Instagram were just the door…
If Instagram were just the door of the coffee shop where we meet every day, where would our table be? You never know what’s gonna work and what’s not and when you commit to an idea and you don’t like the results, you’re gonna want to go back and try other things and change. And that’s hard to explain. I saw a video on YouTube by @petermckinnon last year about this. He’s an amazing content creator and he said something like “don’t announce your content or new things”, cause changes are inevitable and you’re just gonna pigeonhole yourself to whatever you announce. He also said he was not happy about…

What are you reading? Or Social Media Day
Hey… Sit with me for a few minutes. I’m having a cappuccino and a croque-madame. I’m not trying to be fancy here, I was just walking home and I decided to stop by a café on my way and write this post while having breakfast like I always do. Although (yea) I admit that “croque-madame” is a pretty fancy way to call two slices of bread with ham and cheese in the middle and a fried egg on top over melted cheese… But that would be too many words to call a f sandwich. Wouldn’t it? HEHEHE But I wanna talk about what’s behind my “what you’re reading?” thing. You…

How do you wanna reach the world with your words on a blog?
The ability to reach the world with a blog is an opportunity generations of people would have killed to have. — Josh Spector I’m sticking to those tips by Josh Spector. I want to test myself using them as prompts, and I think that one resonates so much with how I started on Instagram and what my account became. But before I talk about it, I want to create a tag, so you can find these posts more accessible. So, whenever you want to check these posts, you’ll be able to find them now under a tag called josh’s tips. Now, I treat my Instagram account as a blog. If…

Delete the first and last paragraphs of your blog post draft, and most likely, it will make it better
Dear reader, How long should a post be? 400? 1000 words? Or do you think that you need as many words as you need to convey an idea? Cutting what’s not essential is a great thing to do no matter how long your post will be. But here’s another tip I found on the internet, yet another tip I don’t necessarily agree with. The first and last paragraphs of my blog posts are actually the essential ones, and the ones I focus on more. I always have a beginning and an end in mind when I write. I start by giving you an idea and maybe a reason for you…

Blog about whatever you want…
Blog about whatever you want, but know that successful blogs are about what an audience wants. — Josh Spector This blog post will be short. I don’t think I agree with this statement. I know what it means though, and I know how dangerous it is to rely one hundred percent on that idea. First, we gotta define what successful is. Success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. Is your purpose to please your audience or to do whatever you want and feel good about it? Second, what if your audience wants you to do what you love? So let me rewrite this: BLOG ABOUT WHATEVER YOU LOVE,…
