I start a new cycle today. New energy, new purpose, new ideas. Well, not everything is that new. You’re still gonna see a little bit of old habits here and there. This is not a complete turnaround, it’s just fine-tuning. It’s the evolution of everything so far. So, cozy up. I’m gonna get this started once and for all.
Fair and square, I’m a writer. Always been. I’ve always loved to write. But now, more than ever, I want to become a published author and well-paid freelance writer. And I can see that happening. That’s branded on my soul and heart, and it’s bleeding, and it won’t ever stop bleeding. I just need ONE thing.
Last week, I asked in my stories how you would start a new project. The sum of all answers would be: have an idea, create a plan through experience, research work, and a little bit of intuition, then collect everything and do it.
Yes, that’s accurate, but… not enough. There’s a more important thing. Your ATTITUDE and way of THINKING about it is the real first step to start a project.
Call it mindset, mentality, or outlook. It doesn’t matter. The key is to act and feel like you’re gonna start a project that will bring you the outcome you long for, that you crave for. Don’t let anything else get in the way, not even hashtags, if you know what I mean.
I’m a writer, now I want to become a published author and well-paid freelance writer. I know I said this already, but this is a new beginning of that journey, and I want to write about it here because I’ve learned that sharing my passions keeps me motivated to pursue them even more.
So, if I made you read more for four years, playing with bookstagram (and f•, didn’t I read a lot more, too?), now I wanna focus on writing and keep myself on track for my projects and my novel. And I’m taking you with me because you’re my dear reader.
But don’t worry, the books will stay. Old habits, remember? And there’s ABSOLUTELY no way for a good writer not to read. The books will stay. Just not like before.
I’m a writer. This is the new beginning. And I’m glad you’re here with me, so buckle up.
